Cumberland Gang Show – Rise Up is a huge spectacular musical variety show. It features a fabulous musical score and a live orchestra, fantastic sets and costumes, amazing audio visuals and an awe-inspiring cast of more than 150 Scouts and Guides aged seven and up who can’t wait to perform again after our show was cancelled last year. This year the gang plans some fun items for the audience including “Land of the Brontosaurus”, where they go back in time with David Attenborough, “Pirate Life”, an hilarious trip through the seven seas and “One Day in Sydney” which is a celebration of how proud we are to be Aussies.
The 2021 show promises to delight audiences of all ages, so please make sure you book early to avoid disappointment!

Cumberland Gang Show takes over 5000 person hours of cast rehearsals from March to July, plus over 8000 hours of set, costume and technical preparation to give you an indication of just how well this show is produced.
This theatrical masterpiece also has a hidden side. It’s actually about training young people in the performing arts, about building their self-confidence and showing them how to succeed through teamwork; it’s about how leadership, hard work and determination can be combined to achieve your wildest dreams; but most of all it’s about showing young people what they can achieve when they work together.
