HEAR YE, HEAR YE... SHERWOOD MOOT (GWS REGION MOOT)
IS NIGH ON 5 WEEKS AWAY!!

We hope ye excitement is building in anticipation of this fun and frivolous weekend. Are you getting ye olde costume prepared?

Are you ready for the quest? Which side shall you choose, Robin's Merry Men or the Sheriff's Guard?

SHERWOOD MOOT DETAILS
When: Fri 5th to Sun 7th August 2011 
Where: Glenfield Scout Activity Centre, Cambridge Ave, Glenfield (aka Sherwood Forest) 
Who: 18+ only. This moot is only for current Rovers, RA's, OP Guides and mates of Rovers (18-25 years) 
Cost: $30 before 31st July, $35 from 1st August. 
Included: 2 nights camping, activities, catered Saturday dinner (see below) and loads of fun!

Early Bird Special of $30 per ticket until 31st July only! Do not tarry, purchase them now with your credit card or paypal account. Tickets purchased prior to moot are only available through our website.

SATURDAY DINNER
For our Saturday dinner we will be preparing a medieval banquet for you, with roast beef, pork, chicken, potatoes and vegetables a plenty. We beseech thee to cometh dressed in ye olde finery (a Medieval/Robin Hood inspired costume), as prizes shall be bestowed upon thine good self, if thine be worthy. There is no full weekend catering option available.

ACTIVITIES
Archery, candle making, duelling, jousting, catapult building, fun at the fair, and the ultimate 'Battle for Sherwood Forest' along with all the usual moot activities: iron gut (Quest to save Maid Marion), campfire, trivia, music tent and much more!

We look forward to thy company at this festive weekend of fun and frivolity.
