What is Waratah 2025
2025 is a big year for Waratah, as it marks the 20th annual event! Initially run for Veturers across GWS, it is now open to Venturers and Senior Guides across the Sate and Country.
The OPERATION DRAGNET style has previously bean a crowd favourite. Essentially a giant game of "hide and seek" throughout a state forrest, participants have to make it from the start to the finish line undetected. Teams are given "Lives" and each time they are "Capturered" they loose a Life. Previous themes have been: 2010: Attack of the Wraith, 2015: Revege of the Wraith, 2021: Escape the Forrest.
For Waratahs 20th Event, The Woodland Warden, we are adding an extra level!
2025 will see the Introduction of Artifacts, and Powerups. Making it a Deck Building, Woodland Crawing, Treasurer Hunting Game as well.
Main Mission
Get from the Start, to the Finish Line, in 36 hours, with out being captured and loosing a life.
The Winning Team
The team across the Finish Line with the Least amount of lives lost, In the quickest time.
Treasurer
Defined as Artifacts and Power ups. This Treasuer will be hidden through out the woodlands for the teams to discover.

- NZ-Venture - The Waratah team is aware of the Clash in Dates for the NZ-Venture Sydney Orientation Day. Unfortunately, despite Waratahs Best efforts to resolve this, Participants will have to choose which event they would like to attend.
